March 2 Monday Phoenix

It rained as predicted so the Arizona State Capitol Museum was our first stop. Lots of information about the state and an exhibit of the USS Arizona (warship that was bombed at Pearl Harbour) was featured here and we stayed 2 1/2 hours.

Another museum, the Heard museum, kept us busy the rest of the afternoon. There is lots of information about the history of the native Americans that inhabit this state.

Dinner was chinese food at Wong's. This place was a dump but the food was fantastic; lots to eat, and served hot. Rest tonight and more touring tomorrow.
